Hey guys I’m have an issue with my 83 Honda atc 200.
I installed a new carb and when placing the throttle cable on everything goes in correctly but the thumb leaver is very easy to press. Something is not right.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You put the slide in the wrong way around, if you look closely you will see markings on the slide, the one side have a small V cut on it where the throttle stop slides in and on the other side a small slit that guides the slide, it happens to me all the time, luckily it is an easy fix.

Thanks Deejay! I went out yesterday morning and took it all back out of the carb and did notice that little tit on the inside.
I had it turned all the way on the other side. I replaced it the correct way and the thumb throttle felt like it should except for a little slack at the beginning of pushing it so I pulled the little boot back from the screw cap and it took that little slack out and it’s now perfect.
I’m also installing new breaks front and back.
I took the carter pin out but can’t get the nut to break to get the back wheel off. Any ideas my man?

I would say lots of deep penetrating oil and your best would be to use an air impact wrench that hammers it off lightly.
