The kick starter on this 250es slips and I am ready to change the one way in the centrifugal clutch. The manual says a puller is needed for centrifugal hub, is one necessary and what does it look like? Anything special?

I googled the puller part # 07933-HB3000A . That comes up a threaded puller and the manual says use a two jaw puller?

I always try a light tap with a brass hammer first , their only lightly pressed on , if that doesn’t work I use the correct 35mm puller .

The old one way had flat spots on the rollers, the matching surfaces i.d. and o.d. have some chatter marks I polished a bit with some 400 grit paper. Replaced the seals and buttoned it up the worst part was gasket removal.266504
The kickstart works good now, but I notice the lever was well forward when the dots are lined up, the p o had it 4-5 splines rearward for longer kick, will it hurt to have the lever back for better kick stroke? Thanks
