New member, new trike owner

Hey all, I just picked up a 1978 ATC 90. Get her running good, now I want to do some upgrades. Taller bars are a must, but does anyone have any other ideas or common upgrades that aren’t “go buy a 140cc Piranha motor”?

140cc Piranha motor is a solid buy, and so is the 190cc Daytona, but it depends on what kind of upgrades you want to do. You could convert it over to 12v and add battery with upgraded electronic features such as usb charger/voltmeter, bluetooth speakers, led lights.. You could also get a vapor trail tech for $130 that gives you a full odometer with speed, rpms, engine hours, miles, and temp. The sky is the limit and it depends on what you want to do and how much you want to spend. I would suggest stripping it down to the frame, sandblast it and powder coat parts. for around $2k you can make it brand new.
