Street legal here in Montana. It includes a brand new 140cc Piranha electric start engine with a Mikuni 22mm carb. The frame, tank and other parts are sandblasted and powder coated. Seat pan is fiberglassed to repair and prevent corrosion. . A vapor trail tech is installed to give it a full odometer display. This features engine hours, miles, speed, RPM, oil temp, air temp and time. The vapor trail tech helps you to monitor the performance and maintenance schedule of your 3 wheeler. Custom built license plate lock box for secure storage. Aftermarket steering bearing and seal kit installed to replace flawed original steering bearings. 17tooth front sprocket installed. 8 way fuse bank with fuse and diagram. Other features include; new 12v battery, two in-line fuel filters installed, LED headlight and switch, LED tail/ brake light, brake light switch, usb charger with voltmeter, side mirrors, horn and switch, all new tires, 1.5 inch wheel spacers, new seat cover, new grips, new throttle assembly, oil cooler, new drive chain, dual petcock valve, new exhaust, maintenance log book with waterproof bag, new air filter, and new valve stems.

That's a sweet set up! And you're able to run non DOT tires legally there, I think I love MT :-)

So tell us about the vapor- calibration, etc. How fast have you gone? What sort of wattage (assuming 12 volts) does the engine produce?

the vapor trail tech was super easy to calibrate the speed. a simple formula that uses your tire height to calculate the the speed with a sensor that spins with the wheel. right now I have only gotten it up to 47, but I need a uni filter, 4.1 fmf mini muffler and proper carb jets to maximize the output. Right now i waiting on carb jets after i order the wrong ones. the engine came with electric start and supplies 12v power to charge the battery and supply the electrical upgrades, it also has the kick start, which I don't use.

never had a problem here in Montana. One of the only states that you can make 3 wheelers street legal! they are not required to have insurance, they have permanent plates for a one time cost, and no helmet required for adults. All you need is a license if you are over 18.
