Do you have any advice on how to set the float in mikuni vm 34ss? I would like to position it optimally as it is still pushing fuel towards the air filter

and set the distance of the electrode on the spark plug NGK BR8ES (OEM preferences)
I'd like to finally get the full power of my tecate 3 87

main nozzle 270
small nozzle size 30

the spire in the highest position and it keeps flooding

EDIT ok, I set the float as in the manual and set up the 30 * slow speed nozzles from the second carburetor (mikuni vm34ss) bought for $ 32 :D and started to ride decently, it spins great and gives power well

From Barnett468

"The best float height setting is the stock one, and if you are below 2000 feet elevation, and the bike is stock, the best jetting is stock.

If the float height is correct and the carb is flooding the engine, the needle and seat are most likely leaking.

You also should be able to depress the small pin on the needle around 4 mm and it should return to stock position when you release the pin. If the pin does not do either of these things, the needle valve is bad, but this pin can often be freed up."
