I'm new to this forum and am trying to figure out the different style tanks that Honda use, like where there models who got tanks redesigned after a while and what models use the same exact tank, I'm not worried about the colors they used or the stickers they used but the actual tanks themself. here is what I've seen so far correct me if I'm wrong and please help fill in gaps.
atc70
(73-74)
(78-85) not sure if there was a change.
us90/atc90
(69-78) shares tank with (79-80 atc110)
69 models are sold as 70 I believe.
70-71 has indent for badge but is the same tank.
atc110
(79-80) shares tank with (69-78 us/atc90)
(81-82) not sure if it shares a tank with anything
(83-85) same tank as (84-85 atc125m)
atc125m
(84-85) same as (83-85 atc110)
(86-87) switched to vertical engine and got whole new design.
atc185
(1980) looks to be same as (81-82 185s) and (81-82 200)
atc185s
(81-82) same as (185) and (81-82 200)
(1983) looks to be same but is a different size gas cap (83 200) and (84-86 200s)
atc200
(81-82) same as (185), and (81-82 185s)
(1983) larger gas cap (83 185s) and (84-86 200s)
atc200s
(84-86) same as (83 200) and (83 185s)
atc200e/200es/200m
(82-85) all used the same tank
atc200x
(83-85)
(86-87)
atc250r
(81-82)
(83-84)
(85-86)
atc250es
(85-88)
atc250sx
(85-87)
atc350x
(85-86)
most the information I got from another forum but doesn't seem complete to me. I'm not too sure with the atc70, atc90, atc110, and atc125. I'm also not sure about any other changes with the 185 and 200. I know most the 185 and 200 models all can share gas tanks but there not all a perfect fit. if there are any design changes in any of the tanks that I have wrong or missed, let me know.
edit: I will edit the information in this post, so all the info is in the same spot, and you don't need to scroll to find something you may need.
