I have a 1985 250es that needs tires and I have the stock rims. I was wandering if the Carlisle 25-13-9 HD Field Trax would fit ok. I don't ride in the mud that much and mainly just putt around on my trike taking it easy. I like the way these big wide tires look and really not that worried about performance. I would appreciate any input on tire selection as i am ready for some new rubber.

Will work just fine , it’s only 1” wider than the factory tire .

You'll want to check the side clearances if you're planning to use one on the front. It may rub on the forks.

thanks guys, I have tried to upload some pics of the new tires but not sure if they will show up. I have not had any issues with rubbing yet and are pleased with the look.

It sounds like you got a tire you're happy with. Congrats.

They do look good on it. The Carlisle tires seems to be truer to size than most available now in trike sizes.
