Here's a clip from my helmet cam that I will have at trikefest 04 to catch some footage of us riding. The clip is from a recent sleddin' trip. The quality of the video is WAY better on the tv, but because it had to be a small clip to put on the net, the quality is low.

We were going about 105 mph on that run. When I drop a tooth on the gear and clutch it, I will get about 115 mph.

Hey kimmer, I just picked up a 03 rev X 600ho with a 1.25 track and plan on putting 120 studs down the middle and do some clutching. I can hear you already "told you so" about the rev LOL :D . Nothing can match the rev in the bumps plain and simple. I've spent a lot of seat time on my dads 04 800ho and our buddies 03 f7 and the rev is 100 times better than the f-cat. I also have a dynoport can to put on the sled to shed some weight. Did the 03 600ho revs come over geared like the 04 800ho's? If so I’ll be dropping a tooth. How does your 600 compare to the rev 800's? I'm coming off a piped 02 xc 700 and hope I won't be disappointed in performance with the 600ho. Have you had any trouble with the rings?

TOLD YA SO! LOL! Yes the 03 is way over geared, so drop one tooth which I believe you will need a 23 tooth gear because they come with 24 tooth from the factory. You will pick up about 10 mph from that. Also, go with the cudney clutch kit.....that thing is unreal! Leave the plastic shims out of the secondary when you do the cudney kit and you will pick up another 5 mph. Get the boyesen reed petals, reeed spacers, and tpi lowboys and you'll pickup about 4 hp. After doing all that you will spank all 600's and 700's including the F7. The 03 800 is weak unless you do a couple mods to wake them up. The 04 and 05 800 ho sdi is one bad mutha! I can beat the 03 800's that are stock, but the 04 beats me. You'll love that sled! I'm probably gonna change my skis to precisions because they suck in loose snow or powder. Get your shocks revalved too, it makes a HUGE difference in the handling and bottoming out problem. Nice to hear you've got to doo! See ya at TF04 bro![/b]
