well its been done,,, basiclly a straight line machine ,,its tooo heavy to do much else!!!! kinda a novielty thing,,,,but thats all,,,, my brother built this several years ago,,,,, the only place it would beat my 250r is after i was at top speed then it would go by cause it was geared to go over 100,,,,,

hey, this one went pretty fast, because I had all the parts. we put it together in about a month, couple hours a day. depends if you use the bike frame, or the trike frame. use the wire harness off the bike. the quads took longer, to alter the frame, and re-engineer some other parts.

I have a 600cc cbr engine and i put it into a atc 350X frame!!!

I think that would be enough performant!

Sorry guys. Don`t be misled. Its not my trike. I am a member of the CBX owners Acc. and somebody posted the pic. to the list.

Don`t know if I would want to open it up, even if I had a chance.

By the way the CBX has SIX carburators.

For the last few years I have had it in my mind to build a road going trike out of my CBX. I am not getting any younger and i don`t know how much longer I will be able to hold up a heavy m/cycle. I think they use Ford rear ends in the Goldwings and Harley`s. Unfortunatly these projects cost a lot of money which is something I don`t have.
Good luck with your project. Keep us up to date.
