We will later use this technology in commercial aircraft, military fighter jets, and future space travel. It also is a first, in that it uses the atmosphere's air (Hydrogen and Oxygen) as fuel, so it dosen't need any fuel tanks 8)

It actually does require a fuel tank for hydrogen. It uses oxygen from the atmosphere, but carries its own hydrogen. The scramjet itself is not a first, it has been around for at least 20 years in testing (its first cousin the ramjet has been around since 1928). The first that they are reffering to here is that its the first time a scramjet has been used to propel a vehicle in flight at hypersonic speeds.
