i just wanted to let any of you guys know that diden't know this.. if you wheelie for a long period of time you can seize your engine.. this is beacuase all the oil rushes to the back and the oil pump can't get any oil... just thought you would like to know

This is why 2-strokes are superior.

i think i have heard that before but a little reminder is indeed ,,, very good.
come to think of it,,, i ain't never had that trouble since i normally flip the trile + my wrinkled arse over long before any motor damage occours.

Well trikes like the 350X if you do it with the 85 you could end up having problems. But the 86 they changed alittle bit to keep that from happening as bad, like if you were to flip back and it still be running, the 86 would fair better than the 85.........peace

I used to wheelie for hours at a time on my '85 250sx (Of course I'd have to come down every once in a while). But a couple of minutes in the air was not uncommon and I've never had a problem!

Has anyone ever seem this happen?!? (seizing up by wheeling?)

It probably depends on if your machine has a single oil feed (if that makes sense) or a scavenge system...
