Should I buy a used 84' yz80 for $250. It all runs, and my friend hasn't ran in in over 4 years. He was the second owner. All its needs is new tread, it's starting to fall off

Thanks, I was just making sure it was worth the buy, he said it will hit over 60 with him on it.(he's small) He said something about the oil to gas ratio is changable depending on how you want it to ride...tell me about how that works. Your pic looks nice!! The one I'm getting is a little older looking, but i will fix it up real nice.

Almost anything that runs is worth that....

i had an 89 yz 80..... tell you what. i regret getting rid of it, the power to weight ratio was insane. that bike really impressed me, after boring it and adding boyesen reeds. the thing was like a 125 with shorter travel on it.

i would buy it if i were you. i picked up mine for 200 not running so 250 $ running is a steal.
