want is a good product to use on scuffed plastic to help reduse that look.

Mothers plastic polish ....you can get it at pretty much any auto parts store

I use carb cleaner, but all my plastic is trashed neways :oops:

finally found a store that can get mothers plastic polish. will be in tomorrow so i'll see how it does 8)

:( well atc i appreciate your help but i can't recomend using mothers. it is duller then the side i didn't do. was new factory plastic that got into abit of a wreck. but anyway it did more harm then good may just have to replace it or learn how to ride. :?

If your gonna keep it a few years then who cares? Or alot of people will buy aftermarket plastic and save the original until there ready to sell. It's not much fun riding if your worried about scratching the bike. I've learned it is better to immediately drop or dent or scratch something new and precious to you, otherwise it'll hurt the first time you do it unintentionally!

ya ya dirtcrasher i know, just the first new ride i have ever owned and i am 34. just stings abit to put some damage on something that expensive. :D
