The 1969 Plymouth Barracuda 340 Formula S Hardtop that I restored and was basically my Highschool ride, is my favorite muscle car of all time. I had a '70 Charger 383 for a while as well as a '70 Roadrunner 383 (with the vacuum hood scoop) and a '72 Charger 440. All Mopar, all the time.

i was always a big fan of the cuda's and charger's , roadrunners are also nice too, (blame dukes of hazard for me liking most of these, LOL), these 3 are the only ones ive ever rode in and drove the charger (real nice guy at a car show)

i absolutely LOVE 62-64 nova station wagons. 66-67 ones too. i like the 55-57 belairs and 60-63 belairs also. the bubble top is possibly the most beautiful roof line ever created. couldn't beat the torque on the 409s either. And beaing a chevy man it pains me to say it, my my dads friend just had his 66 ford fairlane R code restored and i like it alot. 427, dual quads, 4 speed top loader. thats about all i can think of right now.

when I was growing up, my dad got my mom a 1970 Pontiac LeMans station wagon.................with the 400CI RamAir motor! I remember it vaugley, had a chrome air cleaner with ducted ramair(like a 442) and chrome valve covers, dual exhaust with the dual chrome tips and styled steel GTO wheels. It was army green in color. Really fast as far as I can remember, dad used to lite 'em up all the time. Dad drove a 71 Monte Carlo SS 454, I remember the seats would swivel out when you got out of the car. We had it up until 1976 when it was totalled by an oncoming car in a t-bone crash. I was 7 or 8, but I remember that car well. loud and fast and huge, is how I remember both of them. He got them new when we lived in CA, and I remember picking them up from the train station in Syracuse NY when we moved east. That wagon was cool. Back then, you could get any motor you wanted just by checking a box on the order form. I once saw a 63 ford galaxie wagon with a factory 427 2 4 barrels with a 4 speed. The guy was the original owner and said he wanted a 2 door, and the wife wanted a wagon, so he compromised! That chit is cool, man.

1969 Dodge Charger R/T with a 440 Magnum under the hood. Stupid dukes of hazzard got me hooked.
1969 Chevelle SS
1968 or 1969 Firebird's, or Camaro's

And personally, I think that they stopped making muscle cars before the 80's. But the 80's Monte Carlo SS's are nice cars, and they can haul @$$, just like the Buick Grand National.

Good call on the Olds! What about the '70 Monte Carlo? '70 455 Super Duty Trans Am.

I agree for the most part that muscle cars died in the mid seventies but the Grand National GNX was built in the 80's and it will pretty much smoke all the cars mentioned here straight from the factory.

Hmmmm, Never heard of one...I would like to see a pic of that...What are the specs????? I was never beaten on the street or the strip with my Dodge..Not sure if it was the driver or the car but I went up against some pretty nasty stuff...Oh yeah,,,there was a Nova with N20 that I forgot about...He hit the bottle when I was 2 or so car lengths ahead of him...Well beyond the 1/4 mile mark..It was easy to catch me beyond the 1/4 mile as I was running 456 gearing...But with the stock 373's nothing could touch me...

i like hemi cuda's, my dads pickin up a nice 66 2+2 mustang in a couple weeks with a 289 in it, my uncle has that same car but its a stick and the motor is worked, its not a muscle car but my uncle has a 57 chevy with 870 horses its sick he gets it up to 8 grand by just tappin the gas, when he put it in gear he tapped the gas a little mora and it spun the tires a little and then pulled the tires off the ground, its sick for a street legal car, o and it has a chevy small block 400 bored out to a 406 with a 3000 rpm stall speed converter and a huge arse blower stickin out the hood.
