Mine are "old school" to mid 90's

1. 1983 Harry leary Diamondback Turbo. (black was stripped in 1986)
2. 1985 Hutch Pro Racer
3. 199? Diamondback Assult (pic is too big, can't upload)
4. 1995 GT Pro Series

I use the turbo as a daily rider. Smooth as silk and extremely fast.

I ride an old school diamondback like 250 rogers. It is a diamondback viper frame,GT 2-piece crank,GT pedals, haro handlebars and aluminum wheels. Its alright I guess.

I used to race BMX about 25 years ago. Was in the NZ nationals a couple of times. (Never placed anywhere decent). Bicycle Motocross Action and BMX Plus were the magazines back then. I rode bikes made local here in NZ but I had buddies who raced 1st Generation Mongooses and a couple had Quad racers (SE Racing). Another guy in the club rode a Redline. I went to a tour of American Pros in 1980 (I think) and met Scott Braithwaite (?) from SE Racing - He was racing an OM Flyer. Stu Thomsen was another pro that was there from Redline race team.

Tinker Juarez filled the magazines back then as the hottest young pro. I think he is still into bikes in some form.

Bill Walters Leathers, JOFA mouth guards and Haro Levers were sought after items back then. So were Tuff wheels and Z rims. Not sure if any of this means anything to you guys but I thought I'd share.

Andy

Eventually I got into MX Bikes and that was the end of it for me. Had a blast for a few years though.

I raced a ton when I was younger, in the NBL. I was only a few wins away from being in the expert class, and had minor sponsorship in the works from a local bike shop i patronized alot. Ended up moving to NH and I just couldn't get down to the track on a regular enough basis to continue racing.

My bike was a Schwinn predator. Nothing fancy, but I won lots of races on it. A few races I was loaned some of the fancy haro monocoques and such but they were too light and I always preferred the steel/chromoly frame of my predator simply for the durability and that it actually felt like you were riding something.

Also raced a old PK ripper for a little bit.

I was a flatlander back in the mid 80s, early 90s. I was sponcered back in 90 by a big bike shop, w/ a associate w/ a bike company. I still have my oldschool redline RL-20. I keep it pretty much ready to ride. I love to see kids faces when an "old fat DRUNK guy" on a friday nite gets on their bike and pulls tricks they have never heard, seen, or have a clue on how to do. I grab my unicycle and ride it quite often. I have 2 uni's 1 normal and 1 w/ a 6ft seat heigth.

1987 GT Detour Dyno

The Torker is sittin with the rims, tires crank off, its waiting to be repainted, and i need to find a set of handle bars for it, but the other 2 are really good bikes, the Zone is my daily rider

I saw that 250ROGER has an old scholl Harry Leary Diamond Back. Boy do those bring back memories. I used to ride with Harry back in the day, or actually be in awe of Harry back in the day. He used to live in Glendora,CA. Those were back in the days when he was also riding with Matt Haden. Heary Leary is now running and possibly owns Cutting Edge BMX track in Ontario, CA.

mIK6 you have a unicycle? How the hell does one stay on that thing? I have one and have had no luck staying on it yet. It holds a high place of honor in the corner of my shed. (meaning I havent used it in a while and it sits flat collecting dust.)

The bike I had was sky blue. I think I got it at western auto many years ago until my brother left it outside and it ran away in the night since he forgot to chain it. I must not have been a very good owner. :(
