I got to see a guy do that couple years ago. It was amazing to watch him. They also had a small Cat hoe I think it was a 312 that he crawled right up on train cars with also.

I saw that a couple years ago and saved the pics. That is how they unload those cars in some places but the machine is set up for it with extra down riggers up front on the bucket and just behind the front wheels. I would still like to see it done in person sometime. I run equipment and I think going up would be easy compared to coming back down. Doesn't look real safe to me. A portable ramp would be alot safer but then wheres the challange.
