Hi this is cindy I am posting this for Morbid Mike

Well first Mike is home and doing good.

Now to let everyone know "The rest of the story".
Mike wrecked the three-wheeler; I say he did a pretty good job of it. He showed me what not to do.
Well the story from my eyes (what I saw; because I was behind him) is we were out having a good time and he was teaching me how to ride. So for about an hour he was telling me "Be careful" "Don't do that" and " slow down". It was really cool. Then as we went around a corner he looked back to see if I made the turn. Well he twisted the handle grip, which is the throttle too. (very unsafe, needs to be a thumb throttle) Mike and his toy (the 250R three-wheeler) shot off like a lightening bolt up a rocky embankment, on one wheel; somehow, to a big pipe fence.(which at this point in time looked like Evilconivel about to become airborne) He was thrown about 15 ft and wrapped around a big rock (I think he must have loved that rock at that point because he didn't move then he started making some awful groaning sounds). Then the first thing he says is " Is my three-wheeler hurt?" well of course not it is tough toy. But of course he was wishing he had the camera. Well the ambulances came and the helicopters came, there was pretty flashing lights everywhere. So he even got to go for a helicopter ride to the hospital.
He kept telling me; while he was hugging that rock "lets just go home" but he just wouldn't get up or let the rock go.
Anyway he has got some awesome bruises and a shattered hand, which he will have, surgery on next week and then he has to have stomach surgery because he has about 3-4 hernias. But he is still just as mouthy and just stubborn as normal.

P.S. Yes we will ride as soon as he get's better.

Now you know what some of those people on your website feel like (har, har). Just kidding seriously. Hope you get better soon. Did you wreck on the atc you just bought?

I just got over a broken coller bone, broken shoulder and 4 broken ribs from a rollover in the dunes in may. Got to take a ride in the helicopter as well. Happened only 1 1/2 hours upon arriving at the dunes.

OMFG, another sorry soul that encountered the swivel head syndrome :(
When I was a youn buck I went riding with a group of friends and all of a sudden my head swiveled back like in the exorcist to see who was behind me. When my head turned foward I was off the trail and into the nastiest Pricker bush you ever saw. I was so tore up I didnt want to move. My friends thought I wqas dead from all the blood and me just layin there. So everyone beware of the Head swivel syndrome, it can hurt ya bad. Hang tough Bro, you are gonna be fearin the hernia operations. Make sure you get some Vicodin for pain, not some weak ass assprin. You shouldnt ride till spring if your stomach is messed up. Trust me i,ve had 3 hernias.

QUOTE]

THis syndrome happened to my sister several years ago. She was riding a new KLT185 quad. She turned around to see my cousin on another one and ran into a 5 wire barb wire fence. I know she got just over 200 stichesfrom that ordeal. The worse part was she was at my aunt and uncles. They hauled her to the hospital but she could not be worked on until my mom and dad gave the ok, but they couldnt find them for quite some time. I know that she lost 1 fingernail 5 times before it stayed attached.

I hope your getting better Mike.
