this is what i use on honda motors i've worked on ( 185 - 200x - 250sx + es )

not sure where i picked it up but it threads right in and pops them off.
seems i've read other members using the front axle ,,, looks about the same size i reckon.

Different machines use different style pullers. Finding aftermarket pullers is pretty easy and reasonably priced. Like on a ATC90,110,185, 200 style pullers. Buy the right one. To me it's not worth damaging a $50 ( or more ) part ( stator, flywheel, ect ) trying to save $8-$15.

i use a steering wheel/harmonic dampner puller for my tecate. make sure you dont use an impact wrench or you'll mess up your magnets/glue. good luck

for my 83-85 200x, I used the swingarm bolt and a little bolt (rounded the head on the bolt, fits in the hole in the crank). worked great!

I bought this one from a Honda dealer but I don`t think it is a Honda tool.

It works for a number of jobs. 16mm, 18mm, 20mm, 22mm, it cost me $28.00 canadian. Well worth the money.
