hey people . i know its been asked before but can someone please tell me what the differences are between the two. the reason i ask is because some dude is selling a carrier on ebay and he swears that they are the same . he even told me he worked at honda for 10 years. i will be asking about 87's soon!! :D

maybe he sold HONDA cars,,,,, 85 carrier is a one year carrier,,, it WILL NOT fit in a 86 swingarm,,,, period!!!

If they are not different, the guys who changed rear swingarms on their 85 to 86s for a wider choice of carriers wasted their money.
