Kind of sounds like my 76, its got an 8 footer and the smallblock as well, but its a 3/4 ton, mines a custom deluxe, that silverado will be pretty fancy, they had chrome valve covers and everything. With that 350 you will be able to do all sorts of fun stuff, you can get the wheels spinning and the tires burning on mine, lots of people are suprised when a 20 year+ truck can go faster than their new "sport compacts"!

The 4x4 is a real easy fix,and should only cost about 75 bucks or so.The selinoid just threds in to the front diff, and has a plug in at the other end.real simple fix ,then you can do a little mudding.

i personally like my 94 vette turn off the traction lock and hangon just purchased a borla exhaust for it. that ought to sound good. but yes i purchased a 92 s15 jimmy i'm going to lift cause i like a little off-roading myself i paid 350.00 for it been hit in the front end few body panels and i'll be ready to roll but good luck with the truck sounds like one hell of a deal later rman

yeah it was a good deal if i could just get some damn work done to it. every time i try to get something done to it some thing stupid happens and i cant do any thing. i tryed to test the 4x4 tonight and my light went dead so i went over to my uncles to use his and ended up helping my cousin with his el camino
