Here is a math problem to think about:

Mr. Best buys synthetic oil at $5.00 for a 12 oz bottle. He mixes it at 50:1 and gets 50 hours from a set of rings.

Mr. Thrifty gets a great deal on standard 2 stroke oil at $2.50 for a 12 oz bottle. He mixes it at 25:1 and gets 40 hours from a set of rings.

Both riders ride 150 hours a year. Rings cost $20 a set. Each machine requires a top end/bore job after 3 sets of rings costing $175.

How much money did Mr. Thrifty save in a 2 year period?

This is a bit simplistic, but something to think about when using price as your deciding factor.

I have been running Klotz in my RM250. But I usually just run the $.75 a can stuff it has yet to fail me I don't see any problem with running it for trail riding or anything, as long as it is mixed right.
