not even helicoil crap would fix it, and I set out for a good restore on this bike, not some rigged junker with bad exhaust seal. The whole exhaust area is broke BTW, and as you can see it fits, I have the pull start off to figure out why its locked up.

Ok. look. About the drilling. THis was apparently drilled before we got it. The exaust was not drilled by us, because 1 we woudln't hide that from you if we knew it, and 2, the exaust was barely on, that was the first to come off and was effortless.
The carb. I mentioned in an email to you, one of the 3 or 4 i sent, to send me the address where you want the good carb sent. HOWEVER, that i got kinda screwed on that deal because in order to get you your stuff by Oct 6 like you wanted, I had to send everything with the bad carb. So i payedthe guy for the good carb, and it got to my house after i had sent everything else.
Then I saw you online and you signed off immediatly. I didn't want to post on the boards, but it was the only way i knew. I put it off and put it off for that reason. Then once you shunned me away on the messenger, and didn't asnwer my emails, that was all i felt i could do!
SEND IT BACK TO ME and I will refund your money if you are truely that unsatisfied with it. Though it shifted fine for us in and out of gears, and pullled/turned over just fine. Call me crazy but I don't lie.

HMMMMM. I see an easy solution to this,,,, if its that bad,, maybe you didn't ask enough questions or get enough pictures ,,, or maybe the person selling didn't really know what to look for??? but a deal is a deal,,, if your going to keep it finish the deal ,,, otherwise maybe cut your losses and ship it back for a refund???? they say it shifted you say it won't they say it turned over you say it DON'T ,,, so based on your post about still needing a GOOD ONE ,,, I SAY EASY WAY TO END THIS THREAD IS TO SHIP IT BACK,,,, :D

Good ideas yes. But heres the deal, if I send it back, now Im out $80 shipping. She got it for $20, sold it to me for $140 and claims to have shipped it for $80, so shes still up $40 plus still has the entire rest of the bike. Now she will be out $80 in her shipping only if I get my $140 back-but have to trust I will get it now and can still sell it as parts and get back some $ and probably not lose at all, mean while my $80 is gone.
I think the best deal would be if you reduced the price due to the fact that I have to purchase a complete new head, and unseize it just to get it going. But whatever I dont care anymore.

WHAT??? do you hear yourself?
you agreed to pay $140 plus shipping ,,, which was $80 now you say it is junk ,, so send it back,,, so now you have not paid shipping so they got $60 for the whole thing,,,, i say who is ripping who off????? pull starters alone bring more than $60 on ebay ,,, plus all the other parts,,,, WFT,, if she got it for FREE what difference does that make you made a deal and now YOU ARE BACKING OUT!!!!!

What are you guys doing, shipping it overnight express? If a 125 motor costs $80 to ship.. your using the wrong company!!! I can ship a 250cc 70pound motor across the country for $50 tops, and thats with UPS's high prices.

LIke Kasey said, even if I got it for free, does that mean i have to give it to you for free? and the rest of the bike? that would include....the 6 pack rack, and uhhh,, the frame and the wheels and tires that were no good, and the headlight. You got the majority of the bike. the footpegs, the dash, the carb, the engine, the pull start, the wiring harness.
I am not "claiming" it was 80 dollars.Thats what it cost!! The package was 71 to ship,(weighed 90 lbs) had to buy the big thing to put it in which was another 9, PLUS i drove it to the airport for you. THats not right next door to me, but it cut a day or so off the time to ship it to you. Guess this is what i get for bending over backwards, AND OFFERING TO TAKE IT BACK. So if you're not sending it back, why don't you live up to your end of the deal like any other civilized person would do.

this is rediculous.
sorry i was 3 dollars off . I dug this up so that everybody believes me! I don't have the receipt for the container, but that was 9 dollars. so i was 3 dollars off......guess that could be called GAS money for driving 25 miles to get it to you in the time frame you wanted it in.

I'd be pissed too if I payed that much for a hunk of junk. Sounds like the product he agreed to pay for wasn't fully disclosed to him. If I sold someone something that ended up being half of what I thought it was I would cut them a deal. It's the only decent thing to do.

I have bought, sold and shipped three 125 motors and the MOST I ever paid was $32 to ship it. That was from GA to Nebraska. $67 is nuts.
Doesn't matter what it cost her to ship it, the receipt is up here for us to see and it's accurate. He agreed to it and that's that. Sounds to me like he either owes her the remainder of what he agreed to pay or he owes her the stuff for a refund. The fact that she can turn a profit on it is irrelevant. A car dealer buys a car at auction for $1,500 and sells it to you for $5,000. Are you going to demand a cut in the price because he is making so much money off it? What she makes has nothing to do with it. Keeping something that you have not fully paid for when the person has offered to take it back is BS and you know it.

YOu guys think i am here to screw him or something?!?! Oldschoolin, its not like i DIDN"T TELL HIM!! I DIDN"T KNOW!!!!! obviosuly nobody can read this thread well enough to tell that!!!!!! I am NOT THE FIRST OWNER OF THIS BIKE!!! the exaust came right off, we didn't do ANYTHING to take it off, i was SHOCKED when i heard that the exaust studs had been drilled, and I KNOW FOR A FACT, that we STOOD OUT THERE AND PUT IT IN NEUTRAL TO ROLL ACROSS THE BACKYARD AFTER WE PICKED IT UP AND HAD IT IN GEAR IN THE TRUCK so it WOUDN"T ROLL!!! ANd it wasn't just the engine!!!!! it was footpegs, dash, carb(have a good one here i'm STILL Going to send because thats MY END OF THE DEAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) wiring harness and engine. IT turned over for us, and we didn't even have the electric start to use all we HAD was the pull start which is why i can't blieve it just STOPPED working. thats rediculous. ANd yes, there's the receipt for shipping. WHy don't you call UPS if you have a big problem with WHAT I PAID FOR SHIPING!!!! you want a cookie for that cheap price or something clay?!! I can't change the price of shipping.

I read everything you wrote and I don't think your here to screw anybody. Here's the deal, if I sold it to him and he presented the pictures and the evidence to me that has been shown to you I would make a new deal. It would be obvious that I didn't provide what he payed for. It dosen't matter if you knew or not, you know now and your choosing not to do anything it. This is why the feedback system is here because right now I know that if I bought parts from you and they were not what you told me I'd be screwed. Screwed out of shipping or a fair deal. I like money too but if you droped that shipping and ate it you'd still be ahead a little, he'd be happy and it would simplify the situation greatly. This thread has shown a couple of people I wouldn't buy from so don't feel alone. Quite frankly, I'm a little disapointed.

this is stupid. this whole thing is stupid. I did not come on here to argue, and if i had a better solution i would use it. But my solution has been offered. It was to have him send it back. He is choosing not to,but yet I"m still supposed to offer a discount. That means, that for 60 dollars he got the engine, dash, wiring harness, carb, footpegs, and pull start. what a deal. I am still willing to send the extra carb because that is my portion of the deal, but why should I do that if he is not living up to his part of it.
i will say it again, that if you are that truely unsatisfied with it, send it back...or pay the money and finish the deal.
if you say you need a new head on there, is this something that would work?

Maybe we can work something out with that.
