Here is some more Pictures. I love the Tunnel!!!

First off, my hat is off to Howdy for putting these on here. Picture # 1-3, are shot's in my back yard. #4 is The Overland Route" of the abandoned Union Pacific Railroad here that goes from Ashton, Idaho-West Yellowstone, Montana. Looking southeast through canyon with river below. #5 is looking north through the tunnel through the mountain on the abandoned track's. Tunnel is over 100 yard's long. My daughter standing with our 2-1985 200X's. #6 I went through tunnel, and had my daughter ride through so I could get picture of her with the headlight on coming toward's me. #7 approx. 23 miles north of the tunnel still on abandoned track's. She is going north, around 30-35 mph. #8 We are on our way back going south. I'm on dirt road next to track's taking picture while moving along. Elevation on all of these is between 6000-6500 feet above sea level. We are 5 miles from Yellowstone National Park on the Idaho side. This took place on September 28, 2002. Hope you like these.

How do you get to the tunnel from the dunes at St Anthony's??

Ashton, ID is further north towards West Yellowstone from the dunes. I think about 25 miles. The trail that goes to the tunnel starts near Ashton.
