are there alot of after market mods for these quads? can u get them to be pretty quick? and are they good trail bikes? or would i be beter off with a warrior, 300ex, or scrambler?

They are a great quad. It's the same motor as the 282ex(300ex) except they stroked it and gave it a different cam. The 80mm sleeve and piston kit will work on a 250x(they have the same cylinder and bore) making it a 288. Add a 300ex crank and you get a 330ex. Plenty of cams, exhaust, and any other parts to choose from that are available for the 300ex(282ex). It's the best handling in my opinion of what you listed and you can even slip a 250R front end on it pretty easily for a wider stance and more travel.
