been trying to find fenders for my newly purchased trx 70.seems i need a seat cover and fenders.actually i "shaved"the front ones a little to cut out the damage that was done to them.the rear is wasted.anyway,i cant believe they cost 150-200$.theyre so small,i figured 100$,guess i was a bit off.ebay fenders are usally more than magizines,i bid on them anyway.then i see atc70 fenders for half the price of the trx.heck, the fenders cost more than i paid for the machine! i guess the saying"you have to pay to play" would fit in my situation.

its beause it is uncommon, not because of the size. A front fender for my 82 185s is nearly 75% cheaper than the one for my 86 200X. There both about the same size, but there are alot more 82 185's then 86 200X's so, they charge more for the fenderrs because of the lesser demand and that makes the cost of making them higher.

yeah I know what you mean, I will most likley put new Maier fenders on my 86 X because of the price differane between them and OEM (if the OEM are still even availible). Bad part is, the maier's are still really expensive...

i used maier on my 86 350x,if you drill your holes right, they go right on.ive had mine for like 5 yrs and no problems with them.
