Thought you guys would get a kick out of this. This is a real pic. We grow them big down in Georgia. This thing weighed in at about 1000lbs, and had 9" tusks. Its head was the size of a truck tire. BIG PIG. Enjoy. :naughty:

Man this thing was huge. It caused quite the stir in these parts when the local news paper down there posted this pic. The guy was doing some clearing for dear season when the pig came after him. He shot and killed it.

If that's the famous "Hogzilla" pig, I've read up on this and the deal is that the pic is generally considered real, but some people have doubts about it and the guy who shot it because he didn't show anyone else the pig (or just a couple of buddies or business partners, can't recall) and, well, he runs the outfitting business where the pig was shot, sort of raising suspicions that he was just trying to boost his biz.
"Hogzilla," LOL. I got a buddy who rides a quad that he's named Mudzilla and another who named his Quadzilla.
Gotta run. Wifezilla is calling me, LOL.

HAHA, Yeah Ned. They have no idea, some of the grunters we get "downunder" are huge! And geez are they aggressive, even the little pigs sport big ivory if they are well nourished.

Man I was in Winn-Dixie earlier today and glanced at one of those 'Inquirer' or 'Star' mags and that thing was on the cover! They tried to say it was 12'. I don't know if they meant 'tall' or 'long', but it's huge no matter what! Then I look on this site and see it....just goes to show you can get all the media info you need right here on 3ww. :D

i should know what that ivory feels like...i had the unfortunate experience of having a tusk in-bedded in me about 1 inch to the right of the family jewels.

I shot a pig a while back, not a huge bodied pig, but monster tusks! I don't think I've ever seen a pig with bigger tusks, not even on the net. The pigs head now sits mounted on my wall over my TV, a worthy place for a monster tusker. I'm probably the only person you'll meet who will admit to mounting a pig! Hands down though, the best pig hunting is in Aus, gotta love the babes and boars in bacon busters mag!
