after rebuilding my blaster from ground up (resto project) , all is well except when i pull in the clutch and put it into gear , it wants to creep forward. i have a new cable and plates are in stalled correctly. I did notice deep grooves in the clutch basket where the plates sit.Would that cause something like that? should i file them out , thye look kinda deep

Thanks

The fiber plates are naturally pushed forward by the rotating steel ones. Instead of butting against a flat surface, the tabs on the fibers catch an angled groove on your clutch basket, which causes them to go more towards one side or the other, making even more contact with the steel plates. This is what causes your creeping. Yes, file the grooves in the basket flat.
