With all the talk of the new "Gas Gas", I thought people that dont get Dirt Wheels might be interested in the article below. I would like to see how they modified it to get the kicker to move forward. Very impressive that they were able to shave 60 lbs off a comparable 400ex.

Since the 500R is no longer made.......Id say No, Not a chance (Very Unfortunently). That would be quite a monster.

I think Service Honda still makes 500R's. They take old CR500R engines and puts them into CR250R chassis don't they. Yeah here it is. http://www.servicehonda.com/2003%20CR500AF/2003_cr500af.htm
It's a dirtbike though and not a ATC/ATV.

But I would love to get my hands on a CR500 engine and put it in a Lonestar chassis or something like that.

give them the money, and it will be built.

They take the motors out of the 250R's and put them in a 400EX, and take left over CR500R motors into the left over 250R frames. Where are the 400EX motors going????

They sell them for $1999.00

I used to work at Motosport Outlet and the owner/my boss/ huge dickhead had a CR500AF and it's an awesome machine. He hardly ever rode it, just took it to the track and watched his longtime employees ride it and most of the time it just sat on the showroom of the store for people to stare at when they came in. God it was a nice bike too bad it was his.
