1) the looks you get are priceless
2) the comments like "wow, he must be nuts...or psychotic"
3) depending on the trike it can be faster and way cheaper than a quad
4) can u say illegal to produce??
5) i like wheelies
6) old school
7) theres is nothing like 70 mph on 3 wheels and a mean powerslide
8) kickin unsuspecting trailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro
9) you can "explore" more w/ one as opposed to a quad or dirtbike
10) everyone knows who i am when i go riding with my buddies
11) i have seen more trikes in JAMES BOND movies than quads. i dont remember what movie but there are like 4 90's gettin a lil bit of air!!
12) we have a special class for racing..if they let us
13) we are almost the last owners of this dieing breed
14) can u say conversation piece??
15) they look cool dammit
16) race gas smells better when burned in a trike
17) they look good in the back of our trucks :w00t:

I have a few more but if you have any POST EM!!

HELL YEAH bro, Trikes are kick ass! Nothing I like more than riding a wheelie and smelling the fuel burn, kick her over, thats the sound of freedom baby! Love to slide, and side roost. They turn heads like nothing else too!

MUCH tighter turning radius than a quad!

MUCH better power-to-weight ratio than a quad.

Nothing like riding one of the legendary "bad boy" trikes around your local riding place (ATC250R, TRI-Z, TECATE, etc.).

I can't help but hold my head up high when I unload my R.
It gets more attention than my brother's TRX450R and my buddy's Raptor for $3000-4000 LESS!

Speaking of money.....trikes are a smokin' BARGAIN if you buy smart.

I could go on for hours.

What an awesome post, thanks for starting it!!!

Dam right.. trikes are the best. They turn heads and they are 1/4 the cost and go better/stronger/awesomer/faster/quicker/and are down right just better!

The key point is now made! Trikes are awesomer! Thats what I was waiting for, they are the ultimate paradox, they are cool yet badass at the same time! Hell yeah trike brothers and sisters!

you spent 4g's on a quad, I spent 9g's recently on a quad, lsr crf450r, roll design, elka, walsh, all hypers. Nothing but the best is on this bike, but......I still like my trike more, well I have close to 6g's in my trike

But I can sure see where it's EASY to spend a bundle.
BUT.....the initial investment is SO much lower.
Rather than plunking down $6K on a new 450R, for example, you can pick up a SOLID 250R for $1500-2000 and have plenty of money to "make it your own".

I have THREE sweet trikes and less than $3000 TOTAL invested.
See the pic.....the 350X is gone, but not forgotten.

Man, I love 'em to death.
Going out to my garage and seeing them there makes me smile. :)

Just wish spring would get here......I'm going into rider withdrawl!
TOO darned cold around here to ride!

Hmm. They are cool but lets get crazy. Love passing a $6,000 quad though. But I think they jump better and land better.

dont forget that it takes actual skill to ride a trike as opposed to a quad, no skill required. where i'm from all i see are banshees built to the hilt but i have yet to see any of them turn at any rate of speed other than in the bottom of first when they are turning around to make another high speed straight blast. in my opinion, take a lean and let it slide.

Same here, but I have a timy little propane heater :D . Hard working on the R when shes that cold. So I fixed that problem, bring my work inside to the house. I bring in my rims/tank/ and seat to work on. Mother doesnt like that idea so that stopped quick.

Got all my parts by the way, New weisco piston, boyesen reeds, and gasket kit
next week she'll be going.
