Ever wonder what a 100 yard wheelie feels like in 4th gear? Now you'll know., I love the old Quadzillas. I wished I never sold my quadracer 250.

Man i just about can't stand it. i pick this quad up on the 29th. :w00t: :w00t:
man it seems so far away. i have never seen one of these in person and they just look so mean and big. sounds good to me. im told the 88-90 ahve the power valve head? also who knows were to get a good case saver for this?
i just bought a CT racing pipe for this too. not sure if i will buy that cool head or not but i had been pondering the idea. are cool heads worth the Money? they look cool. but i dunno.

howard i hear their big and mean to but also heard the shock set up BLOWS a big one i think you might look into shocks if it runs good and stuff before mods to make it fast

wont do you any good if you fast and hit that one little bump and throws the big slidways!

all years have the powervalve, 87 has the most horsepower and torque of all, but the 87 waterpumps run backwards from all the other years and are prone to overheating, the 87's also have a weaker front a-arm to frame mounts, never heard of the stock suspension sucking, it rides and handles better than the 400ex's and all the other race quads ive owned., its big ,wide, longand very easy to correct if you makes mistakes out on track or trail

When i got my 89 zilla the rear shock was blown, i replaced the rear shock with a new works performance for $479 off ebay. Every body i talk to says that the shocks go out alot. other than that, my suspension is sweeeet, especially with that new rear shock!!!

I had the same realtor front and rear tires on one of my machines and hated them!!! The rears were too heavy and the fronts were just crap(heavy & very unbalanced). I would get some tires for that bad boy for sure.

Man that thing looks nice, for $1500 you say. My buddy had one and it wasnt in the best of shape, he blew the top end up, and it still went for $1000, so I'd say you did good.
