well, Tiger auction ended, less than amazing results

I DID end up bidding. I will not disclose the amount but I ended up the highest bidder. I emailed mark, asking him what he wanted to do from here..........I do want that Tiger, even though the plastic is trashed. I need to have a clean mostly original, un-damaged mechanically, to help rebuild my 250. (no im not gonna scavenge parts-just want to see whats what and duplicate some parts)I hope he is not too bitter about the auction results, hey, I bid a lot more that the high bid when it ended. I hope he now would contact me to make some kind of deal we both could be happy with. after im done with it, it would most likely be sold for less than I paid, and only to a board member.

well i was going to bid it for 1500... but when i saw he wanted 2500 i said i would pass... i bid right below ya holic... and perhaps he will now realize.. that 2500 is tooo much..

i always figured even though an item did not hit reserve, it was wise to come in at the high closing bid, at least a reasonable person would contact the high bidder and try to make a mutually agreeable sale, but it doesnt look like that will happen. Like I said, I just need it for a few months, then it is up for sale, and believe me, it wouldn't be overpriced. I hope we can come to some type of agreement.
