I got a axle bearing kit off eBay and it came with 2 large bearings (for the rear axle) and 4 smaller bearings (for the front axle). All the other kits on eBay I have seen also come with the 6 bearings I previously said. My question is why do these kits come with 4 smaller bearings when the front axle only uses 2? Are the just for spare or do they go some where else even though they are the exact same size. My trike is a 1978 atc90. Thanks for any advice given.

I believe that because so many front and rear bearings are the same on the trikes and quads they just package them like that and call it good. I was actually looking into those and wondered if they actually came with all six bearings for the trikes. That is a good price I think. I will probably get them now because i have two trikes that need front bearings and one that needs rear. Still will have to find seals though.

My trike only uses a total of 4 bearings, 2 in the front wheel hub and 2 in the rear wheel hub. But they gave me six, It was labled on to work for atc 90's and 110's aswell.

Thats what I'm saying. They are packaged to also work on trx90, trx125, trx200, etc. So if you have a four wheeler your still good but with a trike you end up with an extra front set.
