My friend and I are going to pick up a 1985 Kawasaki Mojave. It has a slightly bent axel (still is rode though), a blown tire, and the shifter threads that the shifter slides onto are gone. It is only $300 bucks. Is there anything I should know about this thing to watch out for. I figure that we can just drill a hole in the shifter piece and put a bolt through it comparable to an SX shifter. Also was this the first year they made the Mojave?
