im going to get one of these(it they are a good quad) this summer. can i get some info and pictures of them. this is all due to the fact that my woods and trails are being built on so im going to make a dune quad.

i read that they are know to have bent frames. if i was looking at this frame where would they usally bend?

MY lt250r 85 actually cracked at the front left shock mount. I had that fixed via welding a patch piece over it. Other than that no problems. I have heard that this is where most people expierience problems. I will email pics if you would like. Just shoot me your email address.

85 are the year that break in the front, the 87 up are powervalved

i have an 85 with a cbr954rr motor in it, it wasnt cracked when i got it 2 years ago, and since then it has a a gs550 motor, a katana 600 motor, a cr500 motor and recently the 954 and hopefully the last...i havent seen any cracks, but when i put the 954 in i gussested anywhere that stress was going to be an issue due the the masisve motor and the high hp....
pretty crazy that it has had 5 different motors in it....lol

Its common to find bends right behind the lower rear A-Arm mounts from tree hits, hard crashes, etc. Also, I have seen them with bent tail sections from roll overs. Heres some pics of mine and others ......

do you guys think the t-bone seat is better, or the normal shaped seat? mine has the normal one....
