My friend just got an '87 230 quadsport and It wont start. It has good spark, good compression, and it was flooded but that was taken care of after quite a few kicks. Also there appears to be some oil mixing in with the gas in the cyclinder.

We have been kicking it and giveing it throtle with no choke, just choke, and just kicking it over.

And it also appears that the clutch is bad because as we are kicking it over the sproket turns and even if we have the clutch handle pulled in the sproket still turns.

Any help would be much apreciated but it appears that this thing needs some Xtreme help.

Well, if it were me - I'd pop off the chain and try and get it running on Ether first, then go from there.
Also there appears to be some oil mixing in with the gas in the cylinder. ... how do you know this?.

When we took off the sparkplug we looked in and it looked like oilly gas. And it doesnt have a chain.

We have now come to believe that the timing is off. So before we put any extremly volital substance in the cyclinder we will check the timing.
