No... he's saving money buy listing one auction with multiple items... then he emailed me and asked if I wanted 250SX or a 250R cover. SO I bought another one and said one of each please! :D

85 on both... which makes sense because those are still available from CEET...(250RF F=85)

.....soon to have many more available. :naughty: ...hmmmm... I better call them and check on their progress!!

Anyhow, even though they are still available, CEET charges ~$50 for them. I'd like to find one that goes over my plastic IMS tank for my 82R w/o having to send them my tank!

Talked to him on the phone this morning.

He packaged me up a 85R and a 85SX cover. He only has one more R cover.
They are manufactured by ANSWER Products. (Originally had 2 R covers and 6 SX covers)

CEET still sells the Tecate and 85-86R and 85-86SX covers. I talked to the guy there himself. I sent them a 81-82 250R cover, a 83-85 200X cover, a 83-84R cover, and my 350X cover off my Showgirl. I also sent them the 86 OEM 350X tank decals, and a set of 85 350X and 81-82R decals from Harlan. Soooo... they can start manufacturing those again too! :welcome:

They got them last week and said they'd look at them this week. Hopefully they can use the covers I sent as patterns w/o me having to send my tanks out to them.

Scott, I don't see why they couldn't make a white one. They might just need the correct decals to scan on to the cover.

I just need the patterns off both of them, and yes you can have a white one, but I dont have an sx to perfect my sewing on. (you know a tight fit) If you could just get patterns, that way you keep your cover, I need to make a black one. IF you dont know what a pattern is ask your wife. ;) They should be sewn together pieces. Take each of those individual pieces trace them on paper. Try to get as close as possible and label them. You can keep right at sew line and I can adjust for the 1/4 myself. I will sew the 250sx one but like I said have none to adjust for mistakes. And to get it super close I would tear a good one apart. I would buy one but dont own an sx. need the r lol. Oh side note, I suck at sewing, I hate sewing, I am doing this for my own personal gain, I would rather pay someone, so all others no I wont do it. But for Scott, just ignore that last sentence.

If you talk really nice to the CEET people, they could probably make you a custom one with black vinyl.. that was what I was getting at! ;)
