I'm 6' and felt cramped in the quad cab so I doubt that single is any better.

I'm also 6' tall and owned a '98 single cab shortbed Dakota and felt like I had tons of room in it.

im 6'2" and a guy i know had one, but it was an extended cab, and i felt like i had enough room, but the chevy's a lot roomier, theyre oh so comftorable lol, i can stretch my legs out almost all the way, but the one thing they dont have compared to some dakotas is the only thing that matters to me in a small truck..... the dakota had a Magnum V8, and we had it up and over 120, and it handled like a lil truck should, it wasnt an R/T, Magnum V8-318 R/T-360 c.i. motor, yet stock for stock the Magnum was faster ???? confused the **** outta me......i dont se why you would lift such a lil truck tho? if your gunna lift it, at least go with the 1500... my .o2, later

You are 6'5? you wont have enough room in this kind of truck! for sure... i just went and looked @ one, a 92 dakota 4x4 and i walked away im 5'11" i had an s-10 and complained about "not enough room" alot then i put bucket seats in it . that did help BUT not in leg room!!!! and that is what counts.
