03 Warrior tranny problems??

my friends warrior is all messed up. it will go into gear but will not move, just lurch forward 1/2 inch or so. it will shift into gear, but wont move(yes he knows how to use his clutch, and yes it stays runing). whats going on here????

Have you checked the cltch assembly itself? it sounds as though something went bad in there.

i dont know why the clutch would be causin trouble, it is used correctly. it will go into gear, but it stays locked up, and we can roll it freely.

If you can put it in gear and it rolls freely, there may be an issue with the tranny or the clutch. The easiest thing to check first is the clutch, may be an issue witht he clutch basket being damaged.
