atc 200 got one

I posted the other day i was swaping for another 200m but I actually got the bike today and its an 85 atc 200. Gotta get a plug wire for it and put the coil back on but it seems to be pretty solid. Good thing I got it cause my M went down today.

it just says atc 200 no letter after the size and I will try to borrow a digital camera so I can post pics.

I may be wrong on the year. I'll look at the little sticker on the fornt of the frame agian. I was typing from memory and that can be a dangerous thing lol

As far as the year...

Is the seat curved or more flat??? The older ones had curved seats with more of a "cradle" that you sat in. Also, does the front fork have suspension?
And is there a rack(s)?

its a 1982 I checked it out yesterday. My mistake I just looked at it wrong I guess it doesnt have front shocks but the guy who had it did put fork extenders on it.

man if your M is locked up i would swap the 200 motor into the M and you can use the sidecases and what not if you really want the eletric start, or dose your 200 have front susp?

no it doesn but the m was in rough shape and this atc 200 is in alot better shape new tires relatively good plastic. I have another honda 200 engine if its the bottom end on the m the engine I have is supposed to have a good bottom end bad top end. I was only gonna rob the coil and wire to get the atc 200 up and running for now amd maybe fix the M later or part it out.

throw the M front end on the 200....it handels MUCH better with front susp on the's bikes, i should know i have an 82 200....you better get use to flexing your knees ALOT while riding them :p
