I've been into guns since I was old enough to know what they are. I was shooting a 12 guage shotgun at age five (and a browning automatic 12 guage at that!!). Since I live in Canada we get raped by the government, but that still hasn't stopped alot of us die hard gun lovers.
Heres my personal collection which always gets bigger:
Browning A-Bolt 2 composite stalker .25-06 (very nice composite stock rifle)
Globe firearms bolt action .22
Ruger 10/22
Cooey model 84 .410 shotgun
Lyman Plains rifle .50 cal muzzle loader

Mine is a Norinco Type 56 Carbine (SKS) w/ a Tapco see-under weaver rail and an actual Norinco Military red dot sight, the stock is an ATI and the mag is again a Tapco 30rd zytle unit. You need to buy a good made in the USA mag or they always fly apart. Its really just for looks (or the revolution when it comes) and I use a Tapco 5 rd detatchable for when I shoot mostly. The bi-pod is an ATI bayonet unit and I have a Cutt's type compensator from CTD pinned on.

Tec 9 illegal assault pistol? I didn't know they made those select fire. What makes it an assault pistol? Its just plain ugly to some people but that doesn't make it illegal does it? I have a couple of tec 22's that are POS'S but I think its the magazines that are no good. They always load the bullets into the chamber or should I say try to but never make it. I keep them just for the looks. I wanna get a m11 or a 'REAL' Uzi when I can save enough money to afford one. I have :

some english 30-06
a spanish 10 ga s/s
win 1300 12ga.
savage 22-250
pardner 12 ga
marlin 1895ss 45-70
vz 24 8mm
m44 7.62 x 54R
sks
mak 90 in .223
marlin 60? Im not sure what model its called
savage .22 bolt
cricket single shot .22 (soon to have a supressor attached in the works)
ruger 10-22 with 1 50 rd that jams ( I broke the other one) Dont recommend Ram line.
And last but not least my favorite to use in town
.22 Daisy powerline 822 pellet rifle

You guys with sks's, can you bump fire yours real easy? Mine's still new and the trigger pull is just too much to work. That's all I bought it for. ;)

the tec9 is considered an assault pistol because it fires as fast as * can pull the trigger, its semi auto with a high rate of fire

I converted my low-cap AK to take high-cap Magazines. I love it, it made it a sweet gun but probably not worth what I have invested. I seem to have a habit of doing things like that. :) I also have several sks's of various nationalities. I can agree with Wickedfinger USA mags are the best mags for the SKS for those who want to make them high-cap. I also have a bunch of pistols, one of witch is the TEC9. I can also agree with crackshot, the TEC9 was a cheaply made asault pistol. They are notorious for jamming and a finicky about what ammo they feed. When I got mine it would jam about 3 times to one 30rnd mag. :( But after a little tinkering I've managed to get it to feed absolutely flawlessly. Now I love the TEC9. I don't have any pics of the TEC on hand, But I do have a couple of old pics of the AK. I have since added a 75rnd drum to the AK. :naughty: I have a pic of one of my SKS's that I tricked out. I personally prefer the original configuration of the SKS but for those who want to modify the SKS The mag in the pic is the one you want. Make sure it comes in the cardboard package or it's probably not the right one.

Yea, the USA brand SKS mag is one of the more "reliable" ones (no pun intended) LOL

I have one of the cheap-o no-named 30rd'ers, but Im having feeding problems. The tip of the bullet will hit the bottom of the receiver, just below the hole. It just pisses me off that no one can make a reliable mag for it. I also want to get some kind of red dot for it, or one of the peep-sights that www.sksboards.com has.

And yea, I dont care about the 922 r. regulations....BATF can kiss my ass when it comes to that.

Hey Muddy, where did you order that 20rd fixed mag from? If you did...

Yep the USA brand are the best. The wilson mags and chinese ones can be tweeeked to work but not as reliable.
I have both types for mine.
You can tell the two apart by looking at them from the rear. I will post pics of this.

You need to spread open the feed lips on the magazine a little to raise the cartridge that is being stripped out of the magazine.

I can attest to that I also have an M44 Polish. Its also a rarer "Tanker" model. Just a quick fact - the 7.62x54R is the oldest military cartridge still in use. It dates back to 1891.

I have one No. 4 mk3 enfield a No.5mk3 enfield jungle carbine a No.7 mk3 .308 enfield jungle carbine a Remington 710 3006 a break open New England Arms 20. gauge a Ruger 10/22 And my favorite of all a Beesley Match .303 Enfield MK1 match rifle made in canada by a gunsmith that made rifles for the Canadien Match team. The guy only made 100 of them and i picked one up from our gunsmith that was a friend of the guys. It shoots perfect 1/4 groups at 100 yards. Its got Parker Hale match peep sights on it Its by far my favorite gun that i have. Almost all the guns i have are old military rifles. The No5 is a ww2 war trophy from the pacific thats the second coolest one i have. My dad has 2 M1 Garands a M1 carbine An 03 Sprinfield and many many more hard to find and historic military rifles to many to name alot are very rare. One of his M1's is a Marine Match rifle made in Quanitico Virginia by a marine armorer. It has all ww2 parts on it and shoots 1/2in groups at 100 yards.

My No.5 is a Gibbs with the better, non-lightened No.4 action. Talk about a mule kick when it goes off. I will say that the original No.5 Jungle Carbines are one of the handsomest, if not flawed bolt action rifles ever produced.

I agree mine kicks like a mule to and its not that accuret but its fun to shoot. My No.7 kicks hard to i think it might be Gibbs no.7 but im not sure its got post ww2 markings on it but its super accuret and also a blast to shoot. The only thing wrong with the original No.5 jungle carbines was that they had a "wondering zero" which ment it would shoot dead on one day and the next it would miss by a mile. I read that what happened was that the barel would heat up and expand and there wasnt enough clearence between the stock and barrel and the stock would push the barrel away from where it was zerod in at. I know mine is like this but i dont care because im not realy into shooting accurate with it its just a plinking gun.

They were made out of No.4 Enfields converted to .308 NATO and were just shortened up and added a flash suppresor to the end of the barrel. I like to collect the old enfield rifles and read about them. This summer we were shooting the No.4 and this group of guys approached me and asked if it was a No.4 and how i got it. They said their dad had owned one and that they thought the rifle was cool. That made me feel proud to own something like that that people thought was cool.

2 ft. huh? mine shoots out one almost as long as the rifle itself and lights everything up. Its a lot of fun and I never noticed what a big flame it had from behind. Hearing protection is no joke. Has a nice concussion if you stand nearby. Lookin at the pix I sure would hate to have been one of those sticker bushes that were set on fire by that fireball. I found a better pic today.
