Big fish story

Me and my buddy have been running trot lines for a couple of weeks and been doing pretty good. We have caught several 3-6lb catfish but last night we ran them only had one fish but man what a fish!!! Had a 25lb flathead cat on dang near didn't get him in the boat. got about 12-15lbs of good fillets out of him. A few more like that and it will be time for a fish fry. :Bounce

Fishing season doesnt start here till friday but man i cant wait!!!...got a new rod for christmas with 40 LB test line on it and a tackel full of new lewerers.

Most places you can fish for catfish yearround. I usually start in early spring after the river calms down a little. Trout season starts in 3 days. I can't wait.

Just imagine cathing that 25 pounder on a light rod and line. that's when it's a blast. Nice catch though.
