True....but most people feel as I do...especially since this is Quad Central!!

Its one of the few quads that most 3 wheeler guys would not mind owning.

The reason: Its the only Open Class two stroke ATV that the big 4 ever produced in mass. Forget about the Polaris 400....

I would love to ride one of those KTM 550's.....gosh...those were the days.

Sad....

Imagine if Kawasaki made a 500cc 3 wheeler or quad....with the Kx engine it would be deadly!!

I wonder what that KTM produces......or if it is a match to the KX500, is there any 500cc 2 stroke production anymore??

I don't recall. I have tried to buy up some of the old Dirt Bike mags from 1990 to 1996 to find out.

I know it was fast but like the quadzilla had extreme torque. The bike could rev also. Most said if you reved it then the power was outrageous and it would shred a dunlop to a bare carcass if you reved it all day long. Just too much wheel spin.

Better to lug it..you would still beat everyone around using the bottom to low mid.

Just awesome....one day I will buy one.

You can buy a CR500AF from Service Honda. It has an aluminum frame!

I know...those are awesome...and expensive.

Service Honda should make a CR 500 based TRX 450R....now that I would buy!!

I think Honda produced the CR500R until 2001. Im not sure if they continued it after that, but I wish they would have....
