Well I bought an extremely nice 250R late last year. It still had the stock piston and the skirts shattered and it also damaged the lower cases. I think it's best for me to buy a whole different motor. I'm kinda wanting a 310 or something with at least an aftermarket cylinder. But I came across this and it looks like a deal, what do you guys think? Or if anyone has a motor for sale or can find a good deal let me know.

Or I could go with this and fix mine? Just looking for some imput.

what do you need to fix yours. I have everything you need. But remember,250r motor parts go crazy at the end of a ebay auction.

My lower cases are broken. So I need both case halves plus I'm guessing new crank and rod bearings would be good because the lower end was full of broken piston parts. And I'm not looking forward to reassembling the transmission, I've done it before, just not one of my favorite things to do. The Honda dealer can fix my cases for $100. Not sure what to do. I think I should just buy a motor. Like a 310 pv or something like that. You can ususally buy a whole 310 motor for less than the kit would cost.
