the only thing tho's ricers are good for is collecting insurance when you put a brick on the pedal while the POS go's over a cliff.

Why do you want a ricer???? Just put some 2.73's for a final gear and you will get good mileage with a V8 and still have enough torque to be cool.

Put a 427 stroker under the civics hood and call it good.

ricers crack me up. Why not just buy a car that is already fast and make it faster?? Thats like buying a huffy and wanting to make it a harley! Buy yourself some good ol' american muscle. You could buy one hell of a car with the money that you will put in a honda just to make it almost keep up with a old mustang or vette or camaro. If you have to get something other than a ford, i'd get a dodge stealth vr4 or a mitsubishi 300gt twin turbo. Those are AWD and will run about 13-14 sec. 1/4's stock. :D

put a fart pipe on it and lucas oil crap in crankcase and you will have instant racer and lots of power.
turns 4 cylinders into massive v8's!

dont forget the big ol' airplane wing on the back! I mean we all know that you have to have a lot of down-pressure on the back of a front wheel drive car! haha. You MUST put stickers all over it, that alone doubles the horsepower! LMAO
Sorry 200xkwit, I aint trying to make fun of ya, i just personally hate rice-burners.

I love tuner cars. I would never buy an american made car.

i too have this outlook on cars(NOT trucks) i would not buy an australian made car, holden or ford as they are heavy and large. i love the way jap spec cars handle and look.

As far as compact cars go the japs are kickin our butts. I might consider an "American" full size but "American" compacts are just inferior.

What about the new chevy cobalts? I read in a mag that they can get like 400 HP on a stock bottom end, and that chevy made the engine to easily accept mods so they could get into the market. I don't like FWD cars, but at least its american.

Dang 400 ponies for a stock bottom end, still dont like it, If I were to have a new car to mod it would be a 2005 Mustang GT, 305 stock HP, not to even think about all the aftermarket parts for it out already, you could make it into one hot ride.

BUAHAHAHAHA, not even close! Those rods go flyin before 300hp. About 280hp is the MAX with a stock bottom end and that's pushing it.
