$250 for a half of gas tank. I know all about the whole rare and not available thing, but I just don't see the point of it. How much does it hold a gallon or so of gas? How far will you get on a full tank? I can see if you raced a short oval track but for trail riding you would have to carry a spare gas can. Not worth it but that's just me.

No plans to sell it. Actually I was thinking it would be very cool if I restored my 85R with them on it as well a flat track number plate wheels/H track tires etc. that would be a while though. Cool vintage 250R racer

Didnt know x system was looking for them-

X system-- if I ever change my mind you got them!!

Vintage racer?!?!? What do you mean? I still race mine. I don't think it's vintage. I just have all the cool flat track stuff on it from back in the day.

Congrats on the kit. Don't listen to the "it's half a kit" thing. I'd have bought it if I saw it. $250 is worth it. You can fabricate everything else, but I doubt your plastic gas tank molding skills are up to par. Full kits have been selling for $500-$1250 (new).

You'll have to search hard for the other parts though. Most people couldn't tell the radiator brackets, hoses and tree from stock, so the chances of someone having the missing pieces, not having a tank and realizing it are slim.
