I still think 82, at first I saw what I thought was a kill switch on the throttle, but the switch on the Left side of the bars looks like my 82R. Stilll hard to tell '81 or '82. If we had a rear shot or the right hand side pic, I could tell in a heartbeat!

Guess I shouldn't have edited that post..... now that I got Right hand pics.... looks like an 81R for sure! The front disc is solid, no vents on the frame, kill switch on the throttle, no rear master link/cylinder seen.... Think you got yourself an 1981 250R.... the original sport/full spension machine! Nice addition to your Tigers..... the first... and some of the most advanced! :beer

Does it have a rear disc brake? The rear pic of the seat cuts off the axle.... how many bolts are in the front and rear 2-piece rims? The rims and tires look OEM too.....
