It seems that all the good deals are in NY, CA, MN and they will not ship. What about the guys in AL, LA, MS. It seems that us southern boys are keeping their toys!

I'm real close to Mississippi. I'm in north west Alabama.
Actually, I do a litle riding just across the MS line west of Marion Co., AL. A place called "The Splunge", which is a pretty big place made up of trails, sandpits, and gravel pits.
I've sold a few toys, but here lately it just so I could buy better toys. :-D

i also am a Southerner, i live in GOOD OLE ROCKY TOP(tennessee for those who don't know....cough..yankees....cough) but there ain't that many riders around here in my neck of the woods. but its usually people up north and out west that buys my parts so hell maybe i need to take a vacation up there.

yes it's complete, 85 model it runs, it's not mint or anything, but pretty good shape needs just a bit of TLC...motor has been completly rebuilt and runs good, got a slight issue with running rich on fuel, but doesn't hinder it from running at all...could use swing bearings before too awful long, got new gateway wooley boogers on it and bark busters on the handlebars, hondaline headlight guard, maier plastic all around in great shape except for small hole from the exhaust on one side where they all melt...cobra pipe. Let me know I'm going to try and get it out of here in the next few weeks.

I have noticed that on Ebay there have been several 250sx,es, r and various 4-wheelers for sale. Most have gone for under 1000.00 in MN. You just have to look out for them. Haven't seen any deals like that in MS.(mississippi). Have traveled to Ely, MN to canoe with my boy scout troop, I am a scout master, really liked the change in environment.

Thats funny you mention Ely. There was a '86 250r that a kid was asking $650 for a few weeks ago. I'm about 2 hours from Ely.

It sold already, but here is a pic. This is the bad side, it looks better from the other side (has honda wing on air scoop and seat isn't ripped) Needed rear brake work, clutch work, tires were bald, missing grab bar, one small crack in headlight shell. I guess thats it. I just waited too long and he sold it to a friend. I'm more of a 4 stroke guy but this would have been perfect for my collection. http://www.boreal.org/~kimball/250r.jpg

if ya pass on the oddy and tim isn't interested i'd definately be interested in the oddy and your fatcat.
what do you mean the fatcat has basically turned into parts? how complete is it? i'm rebuilding one right now to sell, but would like to pick up another for the old lady (automatic clutch!!!) i have an engine that just needs a top end i could slap in it.
