A friend of mine has a kodiak 400 and has wanted to put a pipe on it but he doesnt want to spend a ton of money on a new one. So he brought it out to my place today and we measured everything up and made dual exhaust for it! It sounds so awsome. Its not super loud but it sounds like my 200x with the DG pipe. We took 2 inch pipe and ran it from the head pipe back to the middle of the air box then bent it and cut a hole on the other side of the bend and welded another peice of pipe to it and then bent that one so they come out angled like on a truck. Then I grabbed some of my old bike pegs with 3/8 inch holes and welded them on the ends as tips. The little holes give it back pressure and quiet it down alot. To keep the pipes from moving we made a bracket and welded it to the frame and then clamped it to the pipe so it does not move at all. It looks awsome and sounds awsome.
