opinion on DVX400?

what do ya think of them? i got a chance at an '04 today for $4k, its got full skid plates, piped, bumper, nerfs and in excellent shape. im kinna debating it because im only 16 and dont have the best job in the world and would have to make payments, what do ya'll think?

Its the same as a Z/KFX400, but with better looking plastic.

Yes, if it is in good shape I would say it is well worth $4,000

Nah...The DVX400 is the same for the 03-04 KFX400 and LTZ400, but in 05, the DVX didn't get the upgrades. You can pick up an 05 for about $1000 more, and if you're financing - you're hardly talking much of a difference in payments per month. The extra parts you an score for about $500 on ebay if you shop around.

that sounds like a deal, i say go for it. the DVX is pretty sweet when compared to the other 400's. also, why spend the extra $1500-$2000 and having to buy the extra upgrades for the 05 when it didnt really didnt change from 04-05.

The DVX didn't get the upgrades that the LTZ and KFX did for 05. Just off hand I know the KFX/Z is quicker for 05 and come with front resi shocks.

that would be a good route but my dad just got this one in on trade and id be making the payments to him with no interest and if i miss a payment because i get a bad check he would understand alot better than the bank would
