Went Jeepin today

Today I was a trailguide at RockKrawl 2005 http://www.ok4wd.com/ . I was wheeling my dads Jeep most of the day in a group with about 18-20 jeeps and 1 seriously done up ford ranger.The trails were very rocky and muddy.Breakdowns in the group included numerous tire blowouts,1 rear driveshaft broke,and the rangers fuel pump crapped out.The ranger also maneged to scrape up or dent every piece of bodywork on the truck and ripped a tailight off.Also had a jeep rip all his steering rods and steering box off. The winches were well used today.I had to be winched out one time.I went into a hole and got hungup on the front spring shackle and the tow hitch got hung up in the back,all 4 tires were off the ground.I was at the end of the line so when i got to the tough sections they were tore up pretty bad.A nice looking chic w/ a lifted up Rubicon was infront of me all day,,she knew how to wheel better than me.In some places nearly everyone got stuck,then I'd drive right through and never got stuck.I'll post a link to some good pics when they go up on our Jeep site.
Tomorrow I'm going back out on some different trails. :beer

Sounds like a blast dude. I have a higly modded Cherokee that I used to wheel all the time, but it seems like its falling to the waist side now. Post pics cuz gotta love nice wheelin pics.

The big mudhole that the blue renegade(green shirt/glasses) is stuck in is called the love canal. Few jeeps attempt it and even less make it through.It has a bottom but you never know how deep.My dad took his jeep in there before it got lifted and took in water and blew the engine.I wont even attempt it with dads jeep.The mud in there stinks worse than a sewer tank.
